Liane is in remission!
Our sweet Liane Alexander, Senior Sales Consultant, is officially in remission after being diagnosed with lymphoma earlier this year. This is how she describes her journey...
"I was very fortunate as I was only diagnosed with Lymphoma in April 2021, and went through a whirlwind of treatments, and then was declared in remission by December 2021!
I was diagnosed based on strange stomach pain, which lead to an ultrasound, which lead to a CT scan, which lead to a PET scan where they discovered stage 3 lymphoma, an extremely large mass in my abdomen, and a mass on my spine which was compressing my spinal cord.
The spinal mass landed me in the hospital for emergency radiation treatments, in June, to shrink that mass.
Then in July, I began 6 cycles (Chemotherapy every 3 weeks) of R-Chop chemotherapy to deal with the Lymphoma, and ultimately after another CT scan (in October) and PET scan (in mid-December) I was declared in remission.
I am also so incredibly blessed to have such amazing coworkers, who prayed, and supported me, throughout – I am so very grateful for all of you!"
We are so thankful for her both in and out of work and thankful for the miracles upon us.

Ringing in the New Year with Great News!
Twin Cedars is a local organization advocating for the needs of foster children in our community. In 2021, Twin Cedars wished to raise $1,000 to provide Christmas gifts for each child in their foster care, a small family gift for the foster families providing care, and a dinner for each family on Christmas Day. It is with great pleasure, I announce that MGroup surpassed the goal and raised $1,190 thanks to many generous employees and a company donation. Twin Cedars Director of Development Jennifer Shawa said “Thank you for making a difference in the life of a child. Twin Cedars’ children are a blessing to us every day, and despite the trauma or difficulties they have endured, they encourage us by their willingness to trust us and allow us to help them. These children give us hope as they grow and heal and leave to go make their mark in the world, and we want to thank you for being a part of their healing and for being a friend of Twin Cedars in 2021.”
Other acts of employee giving includes one team member donating to Twin Cedars Anne E. Shepherd home for girls ages 10-17 who have experienced sexual trauma leading to emotional and behavioral disturbances. Another group of employees put their money together to get a set of twin boys some Christmas gifts after losing everything in a house fire in November. Another team member and her husband have led a Christmas toy drive for the past 5 years. This year they were assisted by the Lagrange College Servant Scholars which includes another of our employees.
I'm sure there are even more donations and acts of kindness contributed by MGroup employees last year. We are so grateful for each team members generosity and we feel blessed we can provide to those less fortunate. May 2022 be even more prosperous!

2022 Pantone Color - Very Peri
Pantone has created its own color for Color of the Year in 2022. It's a very pretty periwinkle color that Pantone describes as a “dynamic periwinkle blue hue with a vivifying violet-red undertone.” Very Peri melds the “loyalty and dependency” of your traditional blue with the “zest and power” of red. This powerful color is easily the star of any color palette and makes a dynamic accent color. Check out our mood board for suggestions on how to design Very Peri with various MGroup products.
