Letter from the President & CEO

When I was announced the new President and CEO of MGroup™, I made a few commitments. First, I committed to meeting with each of you individually to give you an opportunity to weigh in on the company and to voice your concerns. Second, I committed to put better processes and procedures in place to improve your work environment. These commitments are important to me because I recognize everyone’s importance in the organization and want to do the best for the company and for you.

As my first 30 days come to close, I believe we are trending in the right direction. We have put processes in place in our work systems, our operating procedures, and our financial budgets. We have also identified the strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities of our products with our sales team and are seeing an uptick in sales. These are things we should all be proud of and make us excited for the future.

These improvements are coming at just the right time as the world is starting to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. People worldwide are getting vaccinated. People are starting to travel both leisurely and professionally and occupancy rates at hotels are starting to rise. The world is trending in the right direction to return to pre-COVID times and MGroup is in a great spot to take advantage of it. We are well positioned in the market, with our strategic partners and our clients after proving that we are a reliable, resourceful and competent organization that can navigate anything, even a pandemic.

I am excited to see what the future holds for MGroup as I continue to lead you all through this transition.

New Southeastern Account Manager

Meet Taylor Marshall, our new Southeastern Account Manger as of May 2021.

Taylor will be taking over most of the Southeast territory including Georiga, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. Woody Dobbs will be adding Alabama and Mississippi to his territory.

Before joining MGroup, Taylor worked as a Sales Consultant for Georgia Pacific in Nashville, TN and was a Sales Intern at Pepsico. He graduated from UGA in 2015 where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and International Business. Taylor will remain based in Nashville, TN as he takes on his new sales position.

We are very excited to have him join our team. Welcome, Taylor!

Accounting and Contracts Move to Smartsheet

As of Wednesday, April 28, all new Project Order information has been moved out of CRM and into Smartsheet.

While Project Management has been working in Smartsheet for the past several months, Accounting and Contracts departments will now record all project related information in Smartsheet as well. This move is a result of efforts to streamline our work processes and clear up the line of communication between Contracts, Accounting and Project Management.

We are excited for this new system and are looking forward to improving upon it as we work in it.

Here's To Hope and Rebirth

We have all heard the saying, “Hope Springs Eternal” and nothing says hope and rebirth better than nature’s own way of signaling rebirth.

Meridien House, our beautiful headquarters for MGroup™ and now Solenal Americas, LLC is bursting with color and spring excitement. We hope that this is nature’s way of saying that the impossible situations, dire warnings and the many distractions of 2020 are now in the rear view mirror and that we, like spring, signal a rebirth and re-awakening.

Here’s to a 2021 as bright and hopeful as our Meridien House front yard!

Congratulations, Addie!

Addie Pruett, our CRM Associate, was recently inducted into the Delta Mu Delta Honor Society at LaGrange College. Addie is also a part of the Wilkinson Family Servant Scholars Program and is finishing her junior year this month.

We are so proud of her academic accomplishments while working for MGroup part time.
