Road to Recovery Community Outreach

In honor of our CFO, Patti Murray, who's recovering from her battle with lymphoma, MGroup participated in the "Road to Recovery" Community Outreach. Patients with cancer deal with a plethora of stressors and transportation to and from treatments is just one of them. Our friends at Wellstar Enoch Callaway Cancer Center try to find ways to help those struggling with financial transportation concerns. Thanks to your generous support, our CEO, Bo Burdette, Director of Operations, Matthew Partin, and Executive Assistant, Regina Arnold, met with Cancer Coordinator, Sarah Hersey, and Director of Oncology, Charlene McClanahan to donate $1,225 in gas gift cards to give to cancer patients in our community. To say Sarah was happy about our support is an understatement, she shed tears of gratitude and joy.

Sarah left us with this remark, “I cannot thank you enough for your generous support. This will be a “deal changer” for our patients, not only in the financial assistance provided but also in the reminder that they are not alone in their cancer journey.”

Well done MTeam!

Setting Standards for Video Conferencing

As we continue working from home, video conferencing becomes more and more essential. As such, it is only appropriate to set some important guidelines to follow and remember as we communicate via video chat.
Proper etiquette includes:

- Make sure all technology is working correctly.
- Be aware of your surroundings and use a background filter if necessary.
- Use the restroom before the call and do not eat during the call.
- Do not multitask. Limit all distractions.
- Dress as though you are in the office. You should look professional.
- Be on time and stay on the call from start to finish.
- Use the mute button when you can.
- Speak up, enunciate, and be conscious of your tone.
