We are MGroupTM
This month resumes our "We are MGroup" campaign, featuring Project Manager, Kristin Olinger. Kristin has been with MGroupTM for nine years and is a valuable part of the MGroup family. She's responsible for coordinating with our manufacturing team, account managers, and clients to lead projects through pre-production, production, and delivery. She verifies shop drawings and maintains client communication through the revision and approval process and delivery requirements. Kristin's mom worked for MGroup from 2007 - 2013 and after learning more about the hospitality industry through her, Kristin thought it would be a good fit for her. She previously worked in high-end retail and lived in Scotland for 3 years. When she started at MGroup in 2012, she was an assistant to the Director of Operations. Soon after, the department of Project Support was created and she worked as a senior project support associate until 2017. In 2018, she began her role as Project Manager. She is most grateful for the people she works with and her passion for what she does keeps her going! Our team truly wouldn’t be complete without her! Keep up the hard work, Kristin!

Email Etiquette 101
As we continue working from home, emails are our primary form of communication both inside and outside of the organization. Therefore, it's essential to understand some important guidelines to follow and remember as we communicate via email. Proper email etiquette includes:
- Check that the recipient's name is spelled correctly.
- Ensure subject lines are short but specific. Follow a proper email format with a subject line, email greeting, body, and signature.
- Use email fields properly. Don't overuse the CC field, only use "reply all" when necessary, and use forwarding appropriately.
- Keep emails concise. A general rule is shorter is better. The magic number is 50 - 200 words.
- Consider the purpose of your email and communicate if further action is needed and by when.
- Think about where your email could end up. Never use inappropriate language. Don't respond if emotional.
- Use emojis sparingly and watch your tone. Interpretation is crucial. Avoid sarcasm and all caps.
- Proofread your emails. Use Grammarly and spell-check.
- Respond promptly even if it's just to acknowledge receipt of the email. Inform the recipient that they can expect a response in the next few days,
- Set up automatic replies when you're out of the office or the office is closed.
Happy E-mailing!

Football Predictions
Even if you aren't a football fanatic, most people enjoy football season and the games and outings surrounding it. It appears the first month of college football predictions was a success with Matthew Partin taking the lead in week 1, Robin Pike winning week 2, Andrea Nevil winning week 3, and a significant tie between 9 employees in week 4. The weekly winners received a $25 gift card and everyone's points apply to a final score. The person with the highest final score at the end of the season will earn a grand prize. Congrats to the first month's winners! I've enjoyed the company engagement games Bo has put into play and the interactions that have stemmed from it. How are you all liking the games? We want to hear your thoughts! To suggest grand prizes or future company engagement ideas, email info@mgroupcorp.com.

Cati Williams became Cati Bennett this weekend as her and long-time boyfriend Payden tied the knot! Cati and Payden have been dating since 2015 and became engaged in 2019. Their wedding was originally planned for later next year, but Payden has been called up from the reserves and will be deployed stateside in mid-October so the couple had an impromptu, but intimate ceremony at Payden's parents' house on September 26th. Cati was a stunning bride! The chuppah representing the trinity was custom-made by Cati's dad. We are so happy for them both and wish them a lifetime of happiness! Keep the newlyweds in your thoughts and prayers as they transition into Payden's period of deployment.
