No one in our hospitality industry will deny that 2019 was a complicated year! Trade wars with China, anti-dumping and political juggling and now at the start of 2020, news of Coronavirus, all contributed to making 2019 difficult to say the least. In spite of all these difficult considerations, MGroup™ grew by over $8mm on the strength of a supply chain that kept the best of what we had in China but added new sources of production in Malaysia, Eastern and Southern Europe. Our new Ultracera® synthetic countertop material has taken the industry by storm and provided some much needed stability in the supply chain.
At the start of 2020, MGroup™ and Evo Furniture + Design announced a far-reaching decision to bring this famous Eastern European resource to the US hospitality market. Evo is known for their work in the cruise line business but is bringing this same attention to detail and schedule to the US hospitality market, through its association with MGroup™. The first focus will be on architectural millwork for the lobbies and public areas of Focused service and Select Service properties, but the next phase of our tiered expansion will be in fabrication of high end suites. More on this exciting new program as we get closer to launch.

To carry this message to Las Vegas, MGroup™ announces the promotion of Michael Murray to Southwest Regional Manager, covering the Las Vegas gaming and hospitality market.
